I don’t really re-read the blogs I post, but last week’s one was rough.. I know. I would place it top 2 perhaps.
I woke up this morning and listened to NPR's daily news episode on Spotify and the first words were so shocking to me I had to literal stop what I was doing, walk back to my laptop and restart the episode to make sure what I had heard was correct.
"Two Israeli embassy employees were shot to death in Washington DC last night inside of a British museum local and federal authorities are investigation." HUH???
The episode is crazy it made me feel like this was the start of something bigger, next chapter esq. I don't discredit that the Gaza War has been going for far too long. It's weird living in a position where you are just forced to continue. I reality, my voice feels like a vote of zero. Helpless, mayhap.
I was talking to my friend Katy about politics the other day, as one should?? I don't understand the stigma behind that, I believe the phrase "we can agree to disagree" is not properly understood by people who can't talk about politics. I have gathered two reasons for this phenomenon:
1. They are embarrassed by their political choices
2. They are not the best to research.
Still trying to uncover if these are exclusive.
Lies, I found another reason: Maybe just bad people exist.
With everything happening in the world, I feel as if I have begun getting a tad scared for situations. I.C.E reports, a brain-dead woman forced to carry fetus under abortion law. Again, excuse me, HUHH??
Maybe this is paranoia.
No song of the week, podcast instead:
